Disadvantages Staff attitude.
Similar to other reviews on here had been due to go on a Segway experience with my wife. As per the companies instructions we phoned prior to the leaving for the event during very bad weather to ask if the event was still taking place, were told YES...bearing in mind if we had cancelled ourselves due to the bad weather we would have forfeit our experience due to the strict terms and conditions.So we arrived after a 2.5 hour journey, to receive a phone call as we arrive saying that the event had indeed been cancelled due to the bad weather (which was as we expected in the morning...apparently the weather had changed from heavy rain in the morning to heavy rain in the afternoon??!?). The call in my opinion was rude and abrupt, and in a subsequent call later to try and find out what we could do about the booking received further abruptness...allegedly these were the instructors.
When trying to resolve the situation and get in contact with someone to help, received no call back after being told someone would call back in the afternoon as they were in meetings for the morning, and after more phone calls to see about a refund of our voucher received a very stand-off attitude from the staff member on the phone (allegedly the manager) - who seemed quite justified about their abrupt attitude, clearly taking absolutely no responsibility for a bad service. In my opinion as a businessman myself, I would advise that a manager who deems a rude/abrupt attitude to be acceptable, should question that philosophy and improve their phone manner.In the end I said I no longer wanted to deal with them and their bad attitude and will take my business elsewhere. Instead I plan to contact the company who issued the events voucher and change to another product.
Have been on several other similar experience events before, and from my point of view all have had much better staff/attitude/organisation.In my opinion bad attitude and a bad service.
