Ku-Damm 101 is a fantastic hotel

Advantages: Very stylish, good staff, fantastic breakfast
Disadvantages: Street noice if you are in the front of the hotel, distance from town

This is fantastic hotel. I staid here with my wife for 5 days and we just loved it. The service staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are super stylish and the breakfast is very good. The breakfast room is located at the top floor of the hotel, so you have a panoramic view over Berlin. You can plan your daytrip while having breakfast. Well worth a nights sleep

Advantages: Cheap accomodation and very clean.
Disadvantages: Food in bar quite pricy

good hotel

Advantages: reasonably priced, good location
Disadvantages: being apartments - having to buy your own cleaning materials

I spent 4 days over the Easter holidays in Berlin. We stayed at this hotel for the three nights of the hotel. We arrived on Bank holiday Monday and discovered that the Germans take their bank holidays very seriously - so most places were closed. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly and spoke excellent english. This was great as I was not yet brave enough to attempt my basic German! ...room - which by the discription meant that we were to get a doubel bed and and sofa bed in the room. When we got there we only had a sofa bed, which we had to construct every night. Advantages: Good city fo sightseeing, easy to get around, great for kids and shopping,.
Disadvantages: can busy during the summer months and accommodation gets low

getting spoiled at Park Inn Berlin-Alexanderplatz, Berlin

Advantages: great position of the hotel, great service
Disadvantages: none that I can think of

...Did I mention that Park Inn Berlin is a 37 floors building? :) Is one of the highest buildings in that area and you have a restaurant at the last floor where you can go anytime and take pictures of Berlin. The hotel rooms are very clean and the furniture and the design are modern and fresh.
