...the hotel direct on the Holiday Inn website a week or so before hand - the member of staff I spoke to was very helpful. The hotel was clean and modern - it must has only been built in the last few years. reception staff were friendly and everyone spoke good English. ...hot chocolate to drink. The Mark Hotel is about a 2 minute walk from the Kurfurstendamm which is the 1 of the main streets in Berlin for shopping, bars and restaurants. On the corner of the Ku'damm and Meineke Strasse is a Dunkin Doughnuts and Internet Cafe which is useful if you want to keep in contact with home or work.
