Where do i start? I have very mixed opinions on this place. When i first moved to Cardiff a year ago Belins was a must on all bar crawls with £1 a drink Wednesday and Thursday and til eleven on Fridays and Saturdays. So the trick was to go in there for an hour or two, drink as much as you could possibly consume, and then move on somewhere better for the rest of the night. Now the drinks are £1.50 on selected lines and the admission prices have changed ... ...but the place is often cramped and the people in there seem to be the same people every week, and most of them are about 15-17 years old!
Now the prices have risen there are many places in Cardiff where you can drink for at least the same ammonut, only in better places.
So im sorry to say that what used to be a regular haunt has now slipped sadly into a once in a blue moon visit. ...

Stayed in City Pension Berlin for 2 nights in December 2005 with another two friends. Three of us booked a triple room and the shower is in the room but toilet outside. We paid Euro 53 only (this is very good value).
