LONDON'S CALLING

Advantages: Pleasent stay, good food, central location
Disadvantages: Views from room

eateries/drinking places and chose 372, which offers carvery selection. I was surprise how hot and fresh the food was. Not only that it was tasty too! We opted for lamb with roast potatoes, new potatoes and three vegetables. However, my only complaint about the meal was the vegetables; they were a tad on the raw side for my liking. That said I ALWAYS OVER cook my veggies. Dessert was for me home made apple pie and cream, while the other half opted for home made cheesecake ? both were consumed without any complaints and very much enjoyed. Our meal for two with drinks cost £29) Hotel: the hotel it situated in the Strand which is in central London and easy to walk to theatres such as the Aldwych, Lyceum, and many more. Come out the front of the hotel and turn right, and you?ll be heading towards Trafalgar square with Nelson, bear left and you ...

Trafalgar Square :Good for People Watching !

Advantages: Great meeting point. Impressive statue
Disadvantages: Can get very crowded

I nearly always make a visit to Trafalgar Square when I am in London. It is very central and most days thousands of people are there. In some respects it is a great nodal point and it is impressive and there is the statue of one of Britain's great heroes Admiral Nelson to gaze at. The square also attract thousands of pigeons and it is quite a nice pastime to sit and feed them crumbs from your sandwiches. A lot of foreign tourists congregate in Trafalgar Square and if you spend an hour or two there you will certainly see a wide cross section of humanity. Another nice thing is that you see all age groups in Trafalgar Square. Nearby are some fine attractions such as the National Portrait Gallery, St Martins in the Fields and you are only a stones throw away from Northumberland Avenue and Whitehall. ...

Review of Trafalgar Square, London

On the Square

Advantages: Good location, good standard, clean and pleasant
Disadvantages: A bit anonymous

The Square is a mid priced hotel situated in the heart of Copenhagen, on Radhuspladsen and overlooking Tivoli Gardens. A short walk from the Central Station it is very handy for transfers from the airport and provides an excellent base for touring the city. Part of the ARP-Hansen Hotel Group it is one of several hotels in Copenhagen and like their other properties offers a good standard of accommodation geared towards the modern business or tourist traveller. Location ~ Despite the claims that the hotel overlooks Tivoli gardens this is somewhat misleading. Granted, from the top (6th) floor you can see the giant Tivoli sign but that's about it. There aren't really any other views available as it isn't in the prettiest part of town. A few minutes from the station it occupies a large portion of an unprepossessing retail ...
