On my recent holiday to Malta i stayed in Le Meridien Hotel, located in SaintJulian's. I would not normally have stayed in a 5 star hotel, but I was lucky enough to win some money towards a holiday from the company that I work for. Obviously, with free money, you are going to push the boat out a bit, and I am glad we did!!
Location/Area
We arrived at the hotel in the dark, quite late on a Friday night. The taxi brought us round a few small streets and then up quite a steep hill, thus bringing us to the reception of the hotel. My first impression was that it was in quite a strange location, but this is because i had only just seen where we were, and also it was dark, so everything seems different. The doors to the reception are round the back of the hotel and on the ground level floor.

All though i only had my saintbernard for 2 years it was the best 2 years of my life. we rescued our saintbernard from someone who had brought her over to cyprus with a male for breeding and showing and could no longer look after her anymore.. i had a call from a friend who had heard about her from another friend and although weary at first i decided to go and see her. so i got the number and arranged a meeting. we went to see her one hot afternoon in the middle of summer here in cyprus in 2007.
it was love at first sight. she came calmly over to me, sat in front of me and looked at me with those big beautifull eyes and my heart melted. i said "i will take her" after spending just ten minuites with her and the lady must have thought i was crazy to decide so quickly. but the the lady gave the dog over to me and then we had the big ...

Advantages: 5 Star Luxury Disadvantages: Have to come home!
Kidnapped by a timeshare tout we viewed this hotel and fell in love. It has everything you need when on holiday, although we do leave to go sightseeing and walking, we are always happy to return to this oasis of calm.

In St George's Bay, St Julians, Malta. Just a few minutes walk from a busy shopping centre, entertainment and the sea front. Just 10km from the airport and about 7km from the capital Valetta.
+ Reception+
Very large and airy, with revolving doors as well as two swing doors, usually with a doorman on duty to help with cases as you arrive. The reception desk is manned 24 hours and if you are amongst the elite there is a carpeted section cordoned off especially for you! There is a separate desk to arrange car hire and a concierge to help with getting a taxi, finding out information on a tourist ...
