The location of this hotel was good and breakfast was nice. The rooms were quite small and the floorboards in the room and the corridors creaked an awful lot. I wasn't sure how clean the room was, maybe due to the decor, it had a dusty, musty kind of appearance. The tiling behind the toilet handle was all cracked and the bath wasn't the cleanest I've seen. We booked the hotel on a special reduced rate and I'm glad we did, as this was no four star hotel. I'm generally not a moaner about hotels but I felt really strongly that something should be done to ensure it's classification is downgraded. Very large and old fashioned hotel, but great location. I wouldn't personally stay here again.
