We have also fallen foul of the Everest fitted kitchen, our promised "bespoke" kitchen is summed up by all the previous negative reviews. On reading their glossy brochure your bespoke kitchen will be tailor made to fit. WRONG.
From the salesperson who promises the earth, to the surveyor who got the measurements wrong, the sub-contracted fitters who were more like bodge it and fix it, and the final product being nothing like the original specification.
Two wall cupboards that did not fit, so a standard intermediate size was used with a large "infil "panel, bespoke or what!. Four attempts at screeding the floor, corner cupboards attacked with a circular saw that look terrible, very poor electrics, and getacore worktop that split, but we were blamed for damaging it with a hot pan.

When driving up to the hotel you are immediately struck by how lovely this Edwardian building is. The building has been extended to include more bedrooms and a business/conference centre. And we were more then pleased when we seen it. From the driveway, we could see lovely rooms with balconies and we could see into the restaurant and a conservatory style coffee area.
Facing the hotel was a park which had a playground and pitch within it, a pleasant enough view. There was plenty of parking in the car park and parking was free during our stay.
The hotel reception was small but beautiful, very in-keeping with the Edwardian building it was housed in. We could see into the bar, which faces the reception, and at the end of the hall there was a set of stairs leading up to the rooms. At the top of the first ...
Advantages: Single piece flat roof prevents leaks Disadvantages: Poor and incompetent workmanship, non existent follow up support
My Mother had the flat roof on the garage replaced by Everest. Whilst the roof looks good and now no longer leaks, the fitters fitted it the wrong way around. The raised edge that should have gone at the front of the roof was installed at the back, preventing rain water from getting into the gutters. She also complained about drips of glue/resin that had splashed onto the garage door. To rectify the splash marks they offered to repaint the door. Unfortunately the person who did it, obviously has never painted anything in his life and only had enough paint to do a quarter of the job so splashed the paint around to cover a s much as possible. Phone calls t complain have fallen on deaf ears and any follow up service has not been forthcoming.
