Premier Inns are part of the Whitbread group and were recently voted among the best 20 big companies to work for, as attested to by the certificate proudly on display in reception. It claims to be the largest hotel chain in the UK, with over 490 hotels nationwide. This Premier Inn is an unprepossessing, modern brick building, just off a dual carriageway, near a petrol station. Quaint the location is not, but reflects the functional rather than flashy character of the hotel.

Prices have now gone up to £51 per room per night, but I reckon that's still very good value.

I picked the Premier travel Inn for several reasons.
Firstly it was the location. The Inn is located out in the fields with little or no industry or buildings around it. There were some cracking views out over the landscape.
The equivalent Travellodge is only about 200 yards away which for us was useful as we managed to book out the entire Premier and half of the lodge.
The next important reason was that the Inn has a Brewers Fare (PUB) attached to it, a mere 20 yard walk from the hotel door.
Lastly the Inn isn't bothered by large amounts of traffic and road noise and offered an easy cheap option for everyone...

Advantages: Close to shopping centres, great for families. Disadvantages: Noisy if windows open- traffic
...This is the bestvalue for money if you wish to visit London but not spend too much.
We have stayed at the hotel 8 times and we have booked to stay at the end of August for the bank holiday weekend 2 nights for a family of 4 is costing us £108. This is room only but worth the money for the comfort and location of this hotel.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Hotel: The hotel is situated next to the M25 not far from the dartford bridge etc. The road is very nosey but the hotel has double glazing windows which block out the noise.
The Premier Travel Inn has an integral pub restaurant which provides a selection of evening meals, we had a lovely steak meal here and the food was excellent and the staff friendly. Breakfasts are available at £7.50 for a buffet type meal. Parking...

I decided to extend a day trip to london and stay overnight, just me and my 6 year old boy. This was very last minute booking 18.00 hours the night before the stay to be exact.
Searching on the net I found various prices for us to stop for one night. more
