Best Western Adagio, Loire Valley

...Wow. This is THE place to go for every sort of break I can imagine. There's loads to see and do, rolling countryside, great food, friendly people, not to mention the great roads. You must get a guidebook before you go to make sure you don't miss anything out :) Try and plan your trip too so you don't have to do more miles than you have to. Queues into the main attractions can be quite long so take a drink and be prepared to wait. It will go down quickly though as it's SO organised. I think camping is the best way to stay there if the weathers nice - it's really cheap and the sites are often in great grounds with swimming pools and a village nearby.... Read review

Montresor We only did the drive-by here - pretty village with chateau dominating it from above - we had the feeling that we may have actually visited it many years before -but it was late at night when we drove through. The cities-Tours -Angers-Le Mans Tours We spent a week in Tour in 2004 using it as our base for touring, its proximity to the majority of tourist attractions made it ideal. We stayed at the Harmony Hotel (themed rooms with musical names) which was well placed, competitively priced and very comfortable. We were back there this year (2006) when we stayed right in the centre opposite the train station in the Best Western Grand Hotel. Advantages: Sunny(in the summer), quite, friendly people

...loire valley - doue, is located near the north west of France. Is quite, its not really for singles, its more for couples and familys. Doue has about 5 bars though out the town and has around 3 resturants (which all of good quality). There is also a out side swimming pool,with three diving boards which get higher and higher! The people out there are friendly and sometimes when you are in a resturant they try and talk in english to you (which makes you feel nice). The villiages are small and very quite and there is a church in every one.in doue there is a zoo,which is a very fun thing for the kids, you can watch the pengiens being fed, and the monkeys making weird noises and you can fed the camaels and the zebra's your-self, and you can also fed the baby goats,which are sweet. in villiages nearby (e.g. Passavant sur Layon), you can go...
