Best Western Argyle On The Park, Christchurch

Advantages: Easy access to all major routes in and out of London
Disadvantages: Directly under Heathrow Airport flight path

...I recently had to travel to London for a training course and chose to drive up from Christchurch to the outskirts of London from where I could catch the tube in to my training centre each day. I had previously stayed in Best Western hotels at various locations in Europe so I felt confident in choosing this hotel to stay in. I also ascertained that the nearest tube station (Osterley, Picadilly line) was only a short 10-15 minute walk away and the journey time into Holborn (the station nearest to my training centre) was only 50 minutes and cost £6 for a day return. I found the hotel very easily, having travelled up the M3 and then onto the M25 I took the exit for the M4 towards London leaving the M4 at junction 3 from where it was only 10 minutes along the A312/A4 to the hotel. ...The western water park is by far the best waterpark i hav ever been to. I have been to both the Aquapark and the Aquacity parks and this one outshines them both. When this park opened across from the Aquapark i didnt think think it would be any better but i have been returning each time i am in Majorca. The western water park offers something for all the family. There is many areas that are specially for the kids for example kids waterland and daky land.However there are many rides that all the family can enjoy together as some of the rides have family sized rings and some rides have double rings. There are is also the crazy river and jacuzzis for the adults to just sit back and relax while the kids have fun. The park offers many facilities and places to eat unlike the other waterparks. ...UFFORD PARK HOTEL RESTAURANT, Woodbridge, Suffolk. With the present British eating-out preoccupation with excellent food, top-notch cooking, perfect service, and all things gastronomic, it's a strange thing to still be able to find a hotel restaurant that can out-perform even Fawlty Towers. But the Best Western Ufford Park Hotel restaurant excels in its performance, lacking only Clees himself to bring the audience to its feet (with anger, not glee). This is a restaurant only a few months old, in a high-tech new building serving a large hotel and golf course in the Suffolk countryside. And note that this hotel has been operating for more than 10 years, and should by now know how to do things properly. Our party sat down to dinner at 7:30 on Saturday evening.
