My partner and I stayed in the Ashling Hotel Dublin this summer in July for 6 nights. At this time of the year it cost us ~ €95 per night for a superior double room (this was part of an upgrade special offer at the time). If you are flying into Dublin, the ‘Airlink’ bus service stops at Heuston station. Simply head north from the station stop ... more

Advantages Advantages Close to tram stop and airport bus stop.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can get quite busy with people checking in & out.

The cost of the hotel is middle of the road ... more

(not really their fault I suppose) the manager informed us that it would be back on in an hour or so, so we unpacked and walked for what seemed like 1.5 miles to Temple Bar (travel agent told us it was close to the nightlife) for something to eat, found the excellent 'Fitzers Cafe' (which was strangely a restaurant!!) and enjoyed a ... more
