Advantages: beautiful scenery, much of the city is accessible and it's quite cheap and very easy to do a tour Disadvantages: can get rather blustery

Obviously this is a review about the Harbour, not Sydney itself, but that was just a background as to why I had not been to Sydney very often. It?s been a good 6 or 7 years and the last time we came, I didn?t even see the harbour since we were on the way through to Brisbane. In the car. Bah! Obviously the big problem with this country is everything is spread so far apart ? but enough excuses!
Port Jackson, as the official name of the harbour reads, is basically the ultimate harbour. It is more than capacious enough for large shipping to travel through, though they prefer Newcastle...

Advantages: luxurious, great location, great service, 5 stars Disadvantages: A little bit on the expensive side
...service for when your feeling lazy! Car park (fee), Cocktail bar, Day Spa, Disabled facilities, Drycleaning & laundry services, Executive Club, Express checkin/checkout, Fitness Centre, Internet cafe, Guest Tour desk, Valet.
This place is a great venue for couples to stay more than for families due to the hustle of the central city environment, but i am sure anyone would have fun here. I understand the venue is a popular one for business gatherings as well and i noticed a few conferences going on there. the hotel has meeting and conference rooms and caters for business functions. It is about a half hour drive from Sydney Airport and there are bus transfers available....

Advantages: Awesome place/great photo opportunities! Disadvantages: I was jet lagged when we saw it!
...in an old naval base! It really was the bare essentials with bunk beds, but it was the most basic place we stayed in. And perhaps appropriately the most uncomfortable on the first few days, when we were absolutely knackered from jet lag and would be prepared to sleep anywhere.
Our first real day of the tour (not in a plane), we officially 'did' Sydney Harbour bay. However if you go to Sydney do not do it the same day as you land. We were knackered and this may have meant we didn't appreciate the places we were seeing in Sydney as much as you would if you were 'fresh'.
Sydney Harbour bay is the most iconic place in Australia and the most popular tourist destination. This review is about Sydney Harbour bay rather than Sydney as a city:
We took the local Sea Cat Ferry down river into Sydney Harbour. The best way to see the harbour is by boat...
