...I live quite close to the cresta court hotel and also used to work in altrincham around the corner from here so our company used it a few times for training in their function rooms. I have also stayed here too so i thought i would give readers some info on as many aspects of the hotel as i possibly can! Location: Fantastic location depending on why you are wanting to stay in altrincham. It is literally round the corner from the main shopping street (george street) and is only 15 minutes away from Manchester city centre and 10 minutes from manchester airport. The hotel is also conveniently located for those guest wanting to go into dunham massey or other surrounding areas such as wilmslow or hale barns etc. There are lots of little bars in altrincham including lots of pubs, little cafes and chic little bars and lots of restaurants... Advantages: Close to Earls Court
Disadvantages: Bit of a tube ride into centre of London

...When --------- We (Nicola, Vicki and myself) stayed at the Express by Holiday Inn: Earls Court on 03 October for one night. Why ------- We had tickets to Wicked and wanted a hotel close to the Apollo Victoria theatre (it was only a couple of tube stops). How Much -------------- We paid £119.00 for one night in a "triple" room. We booked this directly with Holiday Inn, because I am a priority club member, we did try to get travel agent discount, but we had no luck! First Impression ----------------------- From the Holiday Inn's website we were told that West Kensington was the closest tube station to the hotel; it was a good ten minute walk, with luggage.
