Quick review of Best Western Falstaff Hotel, Leamington Spa
Accommodation is good and hotel is in good position, but the restaurant food and service are very poor. We stayed for New Year 2007-8 and got the impression of overstretched (foreign and very courteous) staff. The range of menus was limited, the system of having to pre-select dishes in advance irritating and the food uninspired. A choice of lamb shank or stuffed peppers as the main course for New Year's Eve menu, described as a five course Gala Dinner (which actually only had four) was not good enough. There was no choice for the desserts. Management has a problem - we won't choose to stay here again, an opinion shared by manmy of our fellow guests.. ...
