If one comes like me by intercity express train to Berlin, then, one could arrive under circumstances at the station zoological garden which on confessed very much sometimes and is itself a sight. The central station wider far stations are the east station, Berlin-Lichtenberg and on the area of the former Lehrter station soon although Berlin this one is still a construction site, as of 2006 but the great and modern the Berliner will be stations. Of all stations there are very good traffic connections with s and underground to the centre and to all urban areas which the hotel could possibly be.
Of course one comes also by car to Berlin. One arrives from the west about the A2 from the south about the A9 or the A13 from the east about the A12 and from the north about the A11 or the A24. I would find...

Advantages: Cheap, right by Times Square, friendly staff Disadvantages: Rooms may be too small for some fussy travellers!
.... It was great exercise lol, but a nightmare for someone who was 6 months pregnant and needed the loo every 5 minutes (to my partners annoyance!).
On our first night, we wanted to explore so we got a map from the hotel and headed off to the Rockefeller Centre to see the world famous Christmas tree. It only took us about 15 mins to walk there, and it was so easy to find! The hotel couldn't be in a better location, and best of all, if you forget the hotels address when you get in a taxi, just asked to be dropped off in Times Square, and you are all but there!

Advantages: Germany's capital and most interesting city Disadvantages: a bit too large, distances too long
...was in the West and the Brandenburger Tor in the East, a double line of granite stones in the asphalt shows where the Wall was, all tourists want to know, understandably the Berliners are not so keen. The area in front of it (on the western side) is the place where Berliners meet for spontaneous manifestations or outdoor parties, when I was there this year at the beginning of October, Coca Cola was organising a gigantic spectacle on the 2nd and 3rd October with live bands, 500.000 spectators were expected. October 3rd is the national holiday commemorating reunification, nice to see that it was celebrated with music and not speeches.
Standing in front of the Brandenburger Tor we turn to the right and walk down the street for about 200m until we come to the much debated Memorial for the Murdered Jews of Europe which was opened to the public in 2005...
