It really is in a very convenient location and the LOCATION is its greatest asset. It is a three star hotel in an area containing five star holiday attractions.
The hotel advertises its roof terrace as the sort of restaurant under the stars of everyone's dreams. I thought it was jaded and thus overrated with a distant view of the sea which was hardly on the waterfront.
The rooms are OK. I had a de-luxe room which had been reduced on-line from an advertised price of Euros 134 to Euros 75.The TV had CNN and BBC World and the bed was very comfortable. great exercise lol, but a nightmare for someone who was 6 months pregnant and needed the loo every 5 minutes (to my partners annoyance!).
On our first night, we wanted to explore so we got a map from the hotel and headed off to the Rockefeller Centre to see the world famous Christmas tree. It only took us about 15 mins to walk there, and it was so easy to find! The hotel couldn't be in a better location, and best of all, if you forget the hotels address when you get in a taxi, just asked to be dropped off in Times Square, and you are all but there!

It is literally round the corner from the main shopping street (george street) and is only 15 minutes away from Manchester city centre and 10 minutes from manchester airport.
