This hotel is suitable for the traveller looking for an Irish hotel which does Irish style food and plays Irish music live in the bar. If you want a pint of the black stuff and bacon and cabbage then this is the place to go. If you want stark blank homogenous hotel chains then don't come here.
This place has charm and style. its great value for money and gives you an Irish taste. Well worth the trip.
While I was there I did a ring of Kerry tour which the
hotel booked for me ad they picked me up at the door so it was hassle free. I also went to a show that night which I again booked through the hotel and it was only across the road in another hotel so again ideal. The staff helped me and pampered me in every way.
Bedrooms are gorgeous, black and cream and beige. Very classy and decadent. Hannigans restaurant is unusual, mahogany panelling, stained glass dome lighting the room, candles on the table. It is an experience.
When you walk in the lobby and you see the winding stairs lit by a huge chandeler, then you know you are in for a treat.
