Overall it was a nice enough hotel for what it was. It gave us a good central base in TossaDeMar to get our heads down and eat and was close enough to explore. The old adage that you get what you pay for is certainly true, but I don't think there is anything particularly wrong with the Tossa Beach. It ticks all the boxes due to its close proximity to town and the beach and the fact we needed very little spending money. It was my first taste of an all inclusive holiday and for me it suited everything we needed within our budget. For the best deals on Tossa Beach holidays it's best to go through Lastminute as this includes flights etc and dependant on your travel dates the price can vary ...
I got back from a week in TossaDeMar on Saturday night, it was my first visit to the area so I wasn?t altogether sure of what it would be like there, or what to expect from the holiday.
The night we arrived (at about 2am) we found a bar to have a drink in, unfortunately it wasn?t serving food (just ice cream) which was a pain as we were all starving, and couldn?t seem to find anywhere to buy some food. So my first piece of advice is to make sure you have enough to eat before arriving if you?re arriving at a silly time at night.
My first impressions of the resort were that it was picturesque but seemed very quiet and as the holiday went on, I discovered that this was correct. As a 26 year old, I?ve been more used to going out and getting rather tipsy (ok, I mean drunk but I didn?t want to let my Ciao halo slip too far down ...

It really is in a very convenient location and the LOCATION is its greatest asset. It is a three star hotel in an area containing five star holiday attractions.
The hotel advertises its roof terrace as the sort of restaurant under the stars of everyone's dreams. I thought it was jaded and thus overrated with a distant view of the sea which was hardly on the waterfront.
The rooms are OK. I had a de-luxe room which had been reduced on-line from an advertised price of Euros 134 to Euros 75.The TV had CNN and BBC World and the bed was very comfortable.
