Advantages: Cheap, Cheap, cheap and cheap
Disadvantages: Only fly once or twice a day.....have too waite for next flight if yours is cancelled

...handling fee per person of £3.00. So to avoid this if possible pay by debit card....Bazzas money saving tip of the day!!!! The ground service is an area which I think needs to be improved for the following reasons:- 1) Was the lack of a Queueing system at Stansted.One minute we were at the middle of one long q,ueue then we were at the back on now one of four queues for each of the check in staff . I think the system should be marked and bollards erected to stop people jumping the queue. 2) Buzz advise that check in is 2 hours prior to departure time, I thought this was a very long time and rang Buzz the day before hand to reconfirm the flights and double check the check in time. Since we were due to fly at 06.45 we had to check in at 04.45 plus there was travelling time from Stansted Hilton Hotel on top of this. The Buzz agent advised... Read review

Advantages: Fast, Frequent
Disadvantages: Expensive

...' at £13.90 but I do not see how good that is to anyone unless you are only flying out and back in the same day or meeting someone at the airport. If you are travelling into London Stansted on Ryanair, you can purchase a discounted ticket on board at £22. So the Stansted Express is the best of our rail network. Frequent, Clean, Punctual but at a price. Apart from being expensive, the whole of Britian's railways should be just like the Stansted Express. Firstly on the platform the train doors would not open, so I was in a panic as it was ready to depart. Once I had got on the train it was quite dirty, the seat had to be brushed down. Advantages: Less congested, easily accessible
Disadvantages: Not as many routes as Heathrow/Gatwick

...and 24 hours parking. Although this sounds expensive, it really isn’t too bad, considering that when I travelled from Luton a couple of weeks ago, the price was £35 for two days (the company was paying!!) Briefly going back to the point about picking up passengers……..Stansted do not allow you to collect passengers from outside the terminal, so you are forced to use the short stay car park area - although I do believe that they give you some free time. The second choice is the long stay car park which is situated at the very edge of the airport - miles from the terminal! It is actually very near to where the old terminal used to be, and is next to the Hilton hotel. There are plenty of spaces and a shuttle bus that runs to and from the terminal every 15 minutes.
