Best Western Westminster Hotel, Nottingham

I really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Westminster, it was only one night but what a great stay! I really didn't expect the hotel to be this good, given that we paid about 30 quid for the stay including breakfast (I think it's around £26 without). The location was great (cash point and shops across the road, garage around the corner) and fairly close to the city centre. The taxi into town only cost about £3 on the way in and £4 at night coming back, which is very reasonable given that google maps said it would take half an hour to walk to the centre of town. There was a relatively large car park (given the street it was on) there also, so you could drive and park with plenty of ease.

The staff were all really friendly, everyone from the reception team to the waitresses and cleaners. Even the delivery man outside was lovely! We had a junior double, which we booked just because it was cheaper, so I was a little worried about the bed size given that both me and my fiance have arthritis and need a good bed for a good nights sleep. But it was more than enough room - and very comfortable. The room size was plenty, the bathroom immaculately clean and there was a large telly and a hairdryer amongst the usual hotel room items. The shower was a little lacking in pressure but it really wasn't something to complain about given how clean the bathroom was.

Breakfast was included for us, and it was lovely - both continental and full english available (OJ and Coffee/tea etc too). The dining room was large, and again the cleanliness was spot on.

I was so comfortable in the morning that I really didn't want to get up and leave to drive home! If I was in Nottingham again I'd definately stay here.
