Advantages: beautiful hotel, given a room with a terrace Disadvantages: Out of season there isnt a huge amount to do
to go out walking during the day and having nice meals in the town at night, followed by a drink in the hotel bar.
As above there is a park facing the hotel and if you have children I'm sure that they will appreciate this during the day - there is a road in between the hotel and park though.
The beach is a ten minute walk and we thoroughly enjoyed strolling down here during the days. There is a great play park for the kids down here and also a coffee shop. We spent a brilliant afternoon down here, as it was spring there weren't too many people about and we had a walk down the beach and just wandered, it was really peaceful.

The Invercarse Hotel is situated about 3 miles from Dundee city centre, railway and bus stations in lush landscaped grounds overlooking the River Tay and nearby small Airport. A busy hotel for weddings and functions, the hotel has ample car parking though few are near Reception.

Bathrooms small, plenty hot water though the over-bath shower was difficult to get to temperature. Tap water was warm to drink, but complimentary bottled water was available from the bar.
Dinner was good, a nice and varied menu and helpful knowledgable staff. Breakfast was excellent for carnivores ...
Advantages: 3* Hotel in a 5* location Disadvantages: Noisy rooms.
This BestWesternhotel is one of about six BestWesternHotels all in this old part of Istanbul known as Sultanahmet.
It really is in a very convenient location and the LOCATION is its greatest asset. It is a three star hotel in an area containing five star holiday attractions.
The hotel advertises its roof terrace as the sort of restaurant under the stars of everyone's dreams. I thought it was jaded and thus overrated with a distant view of the sea which was hardly on the waterfront.
The rooms are OK. I had a de-luxe room which had been reduced on-line from an advertised price of Euros 134 to Euros 75.The TV had CNN and BBC World and the bed was very comfortable. I found the decor a bit drab. A buffet breakfast on the roof was fine but the service was non-existent. Didn't really matter though - the stuff was all there, I ...
