With Beverley Park so easy a destination to get to we thought we would give it a try. We loaded our VW Camper and headed down the M5. Once we got to Exeter we took the A380 for Torquay, about 28 miles later there we were.

With Beverley Park so easy a destination to get to we thought we would give it a try. We loaded our VW Camper and headed down the M5. Once we got to Exeter we took the A380 for Torquay, about 28 miles later there we were. Beverley Park is situated up a very steep hill my only critisism of this lovely park. First impressions were very pleasing to the eye, everything was very clean and tidy. We booked in and were guided to our pitch hooked up the electric and decided to tour the site and explore. On site were a well stocked shop with very competetive prices to supermarkets. Next door was the indoor swimming pool and further round the corner the very large outdoor swimming pool. Opposite the pools and shop is the reception with all the different brochures giving ideas of what to do during the day locally. Next to this the very splendid Starlight Caberet Bar. Next door to this there is the takeaway and the amusement arcade. The things my children my wife and I enjoyed most about Beverley Park was the entertainment at night time. There are the resident entertainment group but also guest stars who were to say the least were fantastic and very talented. The whole of the park stood out with its cleanliness toilet and shower blocks were immaculate. Facilities were without question faultless. As I said earlier we had our tourer but there are some lovely static homes in prime posistions on the park. I would easily recommend this site to any holiday maker.
Advantages: Facilities, Clenliness, Location, Views Disadvantages: Reduction in choice and qality of meals from takeaway and restaurant in recent rears
...road) ove the offerings at Beverley Park, shame it only opens at 5PM
The steep hill is not as bad as it may seem at first, only 5 minute walk from the beach if you go via the lodges, this cuts out a lot of the hill too. The site is also serviced by a minibus that goes into Paignton. The local Stagecoach bus service 12a (I think) stops just outside the park too.

Advantages: excellent value for money, plenty to keep all of the family happy Disadvantages: only one - the very steep hill you haveto walk up
'twant to use the on site shop, there is a Sainsbury's store just a short drive away which also has a petrol station attached. Also just a short drive away is Paignton Zoo - well worth a visit (discount vouchers are available from BeverleyPark - an added bonus).
On Goodrington beachfront there is a small water park for those who like the waterslides - half day, full day and weekly passes are available. Next to here there are a few chldrens funfair rides andthe obligatory amusement arcade. Between there and BeverleyPark, there are the usual shopsto buy buckets and spades, newsagents, take-aways, and little nick-nack shops.
If you like to do a lot of walking while you're on holiday, Paignton town centre is within walking distance of BeverleyPark - the last time we did it a leisurely walk took between half and three quarters of an hour - very ...
