Hi there, I am a user from German Ciao and would like to increase my English knowledge a bit. I love to write in English but not everything is as easy as writing e-mails to friends, so I thought I could dare to write my first opinion in English today. Please be gentle if my English is not the best. I still hope you can understand everything I say.
For my first opinion I choose my favourite subject: CITY-GUIDE. Since I love to travel, I stay in a lot of hotels. Last December I met some international friends in Los Angeles. We shared a hotel in Beverly Hills - the Beverly Laurel Hotel, located on Bevery Blvd.
The Beverly Laurel is a 3-Story Building (I think it was build in the 70s), a pool located in the middle of the property. The rooms are newly renovated and modern, most walls are painted very colorful, our color was blue. We shared two bedrooms wirh 2 beds in every room. One of the bedroom also had a little kitchen with oven, fridge and microwave. Since we were 8 woman in two rooms we were glad to have two bathroom with showers, toilets and hair dryers.
There was no breakfast included so we bough our own, since we had no problems to fix something in out kitchen.
For entertainment there was a tv in each room. There was also a telephone in every room but I think nearly every hotel in this worlds is providing telephones by now *g*.
They change all towels every day and give you free soap, shampoo and shower gel.
The small room costs about 100 Dollar a night and the big room with the kitchen costs about 110 Dollar a night.
There is free parking in the parking garage under the hotel.
Close to the hotel there is Bevery Center, a big shopping mall with good restaurants. Also Farmer's Market is in walking distance.

This hotel is good for everybody who wants to safe money on a trip but who also wants a clean hotel close to the big attractions of Beverly Hills.
It is cheap for Los Angeles but has a good service.
