Never mind the dodgy soup, just LOOK at the view Advantages: Quiet and very charming - fabulous views Disadvantages: The food - but then you could say that of the entire country. The View's the best thing about the Riverview Advantages: Great views, quiet location Disadvantages: Boring food and no real character Fame At Last The River View is one of the best hotels in Thimphu – it must be, my guide book said so. Chillies and hot rice wine at the Rinchen Ling Advantages: Lovely friendly staff, nice setting Disadvantages: Not a lot to do The Rinchen Ling Lodge was the first of three hotels we used during our trip to Bhutan and was both the most basic and the most friendly of the three.
