Advantages Great Atmosphere, Great Food, Great Service
Disadvantages Not close enough to home
I have been to Bibis a few times now and I absolutely love going there. The place is always buzzing with an amazing atmosphere.
Through the week they have live music; I have never been on a week day but am definitely planning to. On a weekend the restaurant is packed and for this reason they don’t allow you to book, it is just first come first served, which is an unusual way to work but its brilliant and works well here. All the staff used to be Italian which I thought was brilliant, I love the accents however I think they have employed a few English staff now although the majority are still Italian. The decor of the restaurant is outstanding; they have designed it to a T!!!! Everything is perfect from the lighting to the layout, when you sat eating your not to close to the table next to you. The bar by the door is huge, perfect for those waiting to be seated.
When you are shown to you table the staff are very polite, and service is quick but not rushed. It is so hard to choose what to eat as there is so much food to choose from. Also from certain seats you can actually see into the kitchen which I think ads to the appeal of the place. The food itself is gorgeous and worth every penny, I don’t think it is expensive as I believe you get what you pay for and in this case it is clearly top quality food. A decent portion – as I never really manage to eat all of mine especially when the other half is eyeing up the desert menu.
My only disappointment is that it not a chain, which I guess is a good thing – I just wish it was closer to home!!!

How can you "used to be Italian" - you either are or you aren't!
