So you love your designer clothes but don't love the high prices? Then I would deifinately recommend Bicester Village outlet centre. Bicester is a small town in the county of Oxfordshire, around 15 miles from oxford centre. The outlet centre itself is easily accessible via most methods of transports: -Bus: Stagecoach offer a daily service approximately every half hour to Bicester Village from Magdalen Street in Oxford (outside Debenhams). -Car: Take the M40 motorway to Exit 9. Follow the A41 for 2 miles towards Bicester and continue to follow signs to 'Village Retail Park' and 'Bicester Village Outlet Centre'.
Postcode: OX26 6WD -Plane: Main hub airports such as London Heathrow and Birmingham International are less than an hour car journey away.
Gatwick and Stansted are an approximate 2-hour car journey -Train:Chiltern Railways operates a daily services from London Marylebone (up to 4 an hour) or Birmingham Moor Street (up to 2 an hour) to Bicester North station. There is a direct bus link from station to Bicester Village (£2 each way for adults and £1 each way for children)
3 or 4 go for the price of 2 adults when buying Cheap Day Return or Saver tickets to Bicester Village! Each group can also take up to 4 additional children for just £1 each. (GroupSave is not valid before 09.30 on Mondays to Fridays (except Public Holidays)). Ask for a through ticket to Bicester Village which includes return bus travel from Bicester North station.
First Great Western Up to 7 trains a day on Mondays to Saturdays from Oxford to Bicester Town Station, which is just a short walk from Bicester Village.
When you arrive at the village you will find free parking in either the main car park or multi story which allow you to park for free all day. Opening hours for the village are as follows: Mon-Weds & Sun 10am - 6pm
Thurs - Sat 10am - 7pm
There are over 90 discount shops available with even more stores opening in september. As the list is exrtavagant I will name a few of the stores available: -Polo Ralph Lauren: Stocks both men and womens clothes with a wide range including the famous polo shirt, jeans, jumpers, coats, socks and more. For the kids there is a Ralph Lauren Kids near by. -DIOR: Dior stocks handbags and purses mainly with accessories -JIMMY CHOO: need i say more??? -BODUM: for all your kitchen needs -CARLUCCIOS: If you are feeling a bit peckish -LINKS: stock a range of beautiful jewellary -BURBERRY: Another famous brand for you -DKNY: clothes, handbags, purses, accessories -MYLA: gorgeous underwear -CLARKS: Plenty of offers on shoes -WHISTLES -KIPLING -SAMSONITE -MONSOON/ACCESORIZE -ROCK COUTURE
I would say the best time to visit the village would be mid summer and after Christmas when the sales are on because you can pick up a good bargain or two. Earlier this summer I managed to pick up a black shirt from Ralph lauren for a mere £5, that is a bargain. If you want to pick up some christmas presents bicester village offer a gift wrapping service around christmas time and starbucks serve some delicious christmas hot drinks around this time of year. Weekends can be very busy in the village so if you don't like the crowds it is probably better to visit during the week. If you want to stay for lunch but don't want to queue for Carluccios there is a pub near by which sells hot food at cheap prices. There is also a kids menu which includes typical kids food such as burgers and chicken. My one complaint with the village is that is an outdoor centre. This is good in the summer months but when it is raining it can be a bit miserable with people seeking shelter in the shops, this makes it crowded as well. Other than this I find Bicester Village a fairly enjoyable place to go.

Advantages: Plenty of designer labels at reduced prices, free parking, makes a change from the High Street Disadvantages: Can get very busy, not as cheap as you might hope
