Advantages: Hearing Big Ben. The Houses of Parliament Disadvantages: Not open to the general public
Big Ben, situated in Westminster, London, is one of the many attractions in the big city for tourists. Goodness knows why, because it's only a clock, for goodness sake! The BBC first started broadcasting the chimes on 12 December 1923, which is why it's so famous on New Years Eve. There is a microphone in the turrot connected to Broadcasting House.
There are cells within the clock tower where members of Parliament could be imprisoned ...

Advantages: So much to do, Easy to get around. Disadvantages: Pollution?!
...are travelling. Travel cards are very much worth the money for day trips when hoping on and off of Public transport. Around £5 after peak times (9.30am) for an adult.
The shopping is brilliant, it was also one of the main things I hated about being up in the Midlands, there was the MK centre but nothing can compare to Oxford street, Regent Street, Carnaby Street, & Covent Garden. There is also Knightsbridge and Kings road to consider as well. Those being in the centre of town, that’s not even looking at places such as Brent Cross, Wood Green and other shopping areas in the smaller parts of London.
Then the other places to go visit, the Tate Gallery, BigBen, London Eye, Museums, Trafalgar Square to name a few. There I always something to do in London and not everything costs a lot.
Most people assume its Smoky, smelly, dirty and all...
