The Bilderberg Hotel De Keizerskroon owes its name to one of its first guests: Czar Peter the Great. To this day the atmosphere and the experience of staying in this hotel can be described as princely. The building was the personal property of Queen Wilhelmina until 1962. There are 94 tastefully decorated guest rooms and suites with every modern comfort and several well equipped meeting rooms for groups up to 250. It has an excellent restaurant as well as a number of magnificent venues for dinners and receptions, including Royal Palace \\\Het Loo\\\". An enjoyable dinner does not depend solely on the menu. The surroundings also play a very important part. Guests can relax in the indoor pool, sauna, leisure centre and there are plenty of opportunities for sports and outdoor recreation."
Advantages: Wodnerful Staff, Clean, Classy, Good Location - Everything Disadvantages: I have not a bad word to say about them!
...After a very unfortunate start to our city break to Amsterdam my friend and I arrived at this hotel. I want to tell you all the shortened version of what actually happened...
Our Tour Operator booked us into the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Den Haag instead of the hotel in Schiphol [where the airport is]. Not wanting to miss out on the sights of Amsterdam, and not wanting to travel 60km each way between the sights and the hotel we made our way to Amsterdam. After about 300EUR in transport, conmen taxi drivers, and "Sorry we're full, good luck!" from ever hotelier we were directed to the Garden Hotel by their sister hotel Jan Luyken.
We arrived to see a hotel in a quiet area next to a canal with ducks and boats...absolutely gorgeous area! Lovely houses, lots of plants and trees and of course the ducks and geese! The hotel had a red...

...Hi, I work in the Travel Industry, so thought that it would be nice to pass on my knowledge on certain places. I really do hope you find this review helpful. Please do leave a rating at the end of the review.
Ok, lets start.
**********LOCATION**********
The BilderbergHotel Jan Luyken is very good for those who like a more cultural aspect. It is located near the museums and is in the South neighborhood in Amsterdam. This area is the heart of cultural Amsterdam, all the important museums are basically a stone's throw away. Opposite the hotel you will find the Rijks museum and the Van Gogh Museum and virtually on the doorstep are the famous P.C. Hooftstraat, the Vondelpark and the Leidseplein with its cosy cafés, trendy bars, theatres and cinemas. As if thats not enough only a few minutes' walk away are the Concertgebouw and the Van...

Advantages: Well presented, friendly, welcoming, modern Disadvantages: On a back street
...We visted the Hotel Armadams for our honeymoon back in October 2006 for a short break to take in the sights and sounds of Palma.
It is situated one "block" away from the main promenade in Palma, a road lined on one side with bars, hotels, shops and the marina and harbour area on the other.
I am not a great Spanish speaker, infact I know only the most basic of phrases to muddle through, but the staff were very understanding and very helpful, even though we weren't checking in until really late following a delayed flight.
The room was exceptional. Clean crisp tiled floors beautufully airy which really made a good first impression.
We had a view looking out at the flats opposite, but a sneaky view between the buildings to the goregous marina opposite.
Features of the room were also impressive, with a mini bar, television...
