Bilderberg Hotel De Klepperman, Hoevelaken

Advantages: Wodnerful Staff, Clean, Classy, Good Location - Everything
Disadvantages: I have not a bad word to say about them!

...After a very unfortunate start to our city break to Amsterdam my friend and I arrived at this hotel. I want to tell you all the shortened version of what actually happened... Our Tour Operator booked us into the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Den Haag instead of the hotel in Schiphol [where the airport is]. Not wanting to miss out on the sights of Amsterdam, and not wanting to travel 60km each way between the sights and the hotel we made our way to Amsterdam. After about 300EUR in transport, conmen taxi drivers, and "Sorry we're full, good luck!" from ever hotelier we were directed to the Garden Hotel by their sister hotel Jan Luyken. We arrived to see a hotel in a quiet area next to a canal with ducks and boats...absolutely gorgeous area! Lovely houses, lots of plants and trees and of course the ducks and geese! Please do leave a rating at the end of the review. Ok, lets start. **********LOCATION********** The Bilderberg Hotel Jan Luyken is very good for those who like a more cultural aspect. It is located near the museums and is in the South neighborhood in Amsterdam. This area is the heart of cultural Amsterdam, all the important museums are basically a stone's throw away. Opposite the hotel you will find the Rijks museum and the Van Gogh Museum and virtually on the doorstep are the famous P.C. Hooftstraat, the Vondelpark and the Leidseplein with its cosy cafés, trendy bars, theatres and cinemas. As if thats not enough only a few minutes' walk away are the Concertgebouw and the Van... ...We visted the Hotel Armadams for our honeymoon back in October 2006 for a short break to take in the sights and sounds of Palma. It is situated one "block" away from the main promenade in Palma, a road lined on one side with bars, hotels, shops and the marina and harbour area on the other. I am not a great Spanish speaker, infact I know only the most basic of phrases to muddle through, but the staff were very understanding and very helpful, even though we weren't checking in until really late following a delayed flight. The room was exceptional. Clean crisp tiled floors beautufully airy which really made a good first impression.
