Chlothes show live 2009 review

Advantages: There is lots of bargins and amazing offers.
Disadvantages: The food is very exspensive Tke packed lunch!!!!

I visited the chlothes show live this year with my schooland thought it was amazing. I travelled from stockton on tees and it took about 4 hours to get there which is a very long time if you ask me! well when you first arive there is los of people trying to get you to buy this pack which contains a map and a ting broucher it is eight pound and they say if you show this to the people on the stalls they might offer discount but i would advise you not ...
...use it so i wasted about eight pound! There is one big room that is split into diffrent coloured zones you know which zone you are in becasue of the carpet and in these zones there is lots of diffrent stalls. There are some really good bargins like you could by one perfume for twenty pound and get 5 free i thought this was good and then there was stalls that had goodie bags for one or two pound and you got lots of diffrent samples. There is also ...

Seen Better Days?

Advantages: Compact area and some good rides, Thomasland is nice.
Disadvantages: Looks tatty and needs a bit of TLC

Drayton Manor is a long established Theme Park in Tamworth, Staffordshire. It is easily accessible from the M42 and is well signposted. The car parks are massive and look as if they would be adequate even on a very busy day. I visited with my two children in October on a school inset day so the park was relatively quiet. The gates open at 9.30 with the rides opening at 10.30. There is a small zoo which you can visit before the rides open. The current ...
...This is the home to Drayton Manors main thrill rides. Maelstrom cannot be missed as you enter the park. This big circular swing was a favourite with my son and daughter although I wimped out and my friend claimed it made her feel sick! Shockwave is a thrilling stand-up coaster and G-force is an inverted coaster. Due to the fact it was quiet on the day we visited they did not have both rides running all day, one opened later and one shut early so ...

An alternative to shopping in the Bullring

Advantages: Opens until 8.00pm weekdays, good range of high street shops
Disadvantages: Out of town, shops not under one building.

...was unable to go to the HMV in Birmingham's bullring (because Peter Andre was there signing copies of his new single) and was recommended to try the Fort in Castle Bromwich as this had a large HMV and other shops for last minute holiday stuff. The Fort is an out of town shopping centre and situated off the M6. It was relatively easy to get to by car but I am not sure how good the public transport links are - I saw one bus stop on the way there and ...
...and parking is free. The shops are not under one building and are all in a row in a sort of large three quarters square shape. There is a covered walkway where you have to walk to get to one shop to another. The shops are mainly made up of the Arcadia Group i.e. Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Burton, BHS etc and there is a good range of high street women's fashion shops such as Warehouse, Next, Miss Selfridge and New Look. There was also a Marks & Spencer ...

This city of stars sure lights the sky up

Advantages: Big, bright, attractive, lots to do
Disadvantages: not exactly cheap

...cinema is the best in Birmingham with maybe the AMC cinemas off broad street coming a close second. The gold class is excellent, but does not justify the higher price tag in my view. Try the experience once though, you might enjoy it. I did! THE RESTAURANTS - These are all fairly large size, and my favourites include Nandos, Burger King, La Tasca, That Mexican Place!, but there are much more, with probably something for everybody. You will usually ...
...the choice is excellent, and there are always new ones opening up. THE SHOPPING - NOT very good im afraid. Very limited choice of shops, not worth going if you just want to shop. MEGABOWL - Bowling, pool, bar, arcades, a typical megabowl, that is pretty big, and always fun. You arent allowed in after 11pm some nights. Prices for bowling depend on what time of day you come, being more expensive in the evening. CLUBBING - There is one club which used ...
