I have recently flown from Birmingham airport on a flight to Jersey. This was the first time I had flown since a child so I was a bit uncertain about what to do when you get there! I had no reason to worry everything was clearly sign posted and the airport staff were very helpful. Once we had been through customs I was pleasantly surprised to see many VAT free shops, cafes and nice comfy seats! The airport was spacious and very comfortable. The toilets were clean and there were facilities for disabled people. All in all I was very pleased with my flight from Birmingham, our plane left on time and we had a great holiday! The only down side is the limited space for taxis to park! We had to wait for half an hour before getting a taxi home, so that might be one thing that could be improved.

Advantages: Pleasant security people, well served from all over USA and UK Disadvantages: Expensive food, Rude staff, Tiny toilets, Badly thought-out smoking area.
