Cant really ask for a better deal!!
Advantages: Very nice hotel, in an excellent location Disadvantages: not many for a hotel
The Days Inn is a hotel that, from the outside looks small, but trust me, looks are decieving. Facilities:
the usual for a hotel. En suite rooms, brekky available, bar, meeting rooms and an underground carpark. the rooms themselves, have an awesome power shower, and the usual trimmings, tea/coffee etc. you can get smoking as well as non smoking, and rooms are large and very comfy
Location:
The hotel is situated in the Mailbox, which if youve been, ... ...Birmingham. easy to reach from the motorway (M5 or M6), and even easier to get to if you come via train to the Birmingham New street train station. the coach station is close by too (Digbeth), literally walking distance, and hey, even the airport isnt too far (about 10-15 miles)
the location is absolutely excellent. lively place in the mailbox, with the canals, and broad street close by, which is where all the good nightclubs and bars (and more) ...

Good budget hotel
Advantages: modern Disadvantages: lack of restauarant at weekend
...have recently been refurbished, standard holiday inn express feel and design and very clean which for me is the most important thing. The bathroom was clean with a shower and shampoo and liquid soap. Tea and coffee facilities as is usual and a decent sized television with a good reception. One of the things that I like about the Holiday Inn express brand is that a free breakfast is standard meaning you get one even when you pay on points which is ... ...yoghurt, tea, coffee, orange juice etc. The hotels location really is only convenient if you have a car, please don't be fooled by the "Birmingham" title, as this hotel isn't in the city centre. I'd recommend this hotel, although only if you can get a good value rate (under £50.00, especially on a weekend when the hotel appears to run on limited service with no restaurant etc). I did notice in the reception area though that there is a microwave that ...

Radisson SAS, Birmingham
Advantages: Beautiful rooms, Great views, Fantastic food Disadvantages: No pool
Quite possibly one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. From the moment we arrived the service was impeccable and could not be faulted, we really felt special.
The room was beautiful (NB: request a high floor room to get great views). I believe there are a few different themes to the rooms. Ours was fab. With designer Missoni wool cushions and coordinating blankets that I sooooo wanted to take home! Widescreen wall mounted TV, mini bar (dare you ... ...We got a great deal on this as we bought a voucher via ebay which meant we got 2 nights for the price of one, with breakfast, plus champagne on arrival (after 5 hours stuck in the snow it was very much appreciated!)
Can also recommend the food. The buffet breakfast had everything you could ever wish for and was very tasty. Room service was fantastic - the Club sandwich is delicious and beautifully presented.
We were also impressed with the maid ...

...about my stay at the apollo hotel in Birmingham it was easy to find i got off the train and got a taxi to the hagley road ,i was great ed with a very warm welcome the reception staff were there smartly dressed and very useful.
i was given my key and directions, it was only on the second floor so up in lift along a long corridor i was there.
i opened the room door with a card key and was shocked there was a well made double bed and wardrobe i asked ... ...get and how clean it was spotless ,with nice glean fresh towels, shampoo, soap and shower gel in the bathroom.

Good central location and a fair price at the Comfort Inn.
Advantages: Located next to New Street Station, Helpful staff, Nice rooms, Close to shopping centres Disadvantages: None.
I have stayed in this hotel a few times when I have needed to be in Birmingham for events at the NEC.
The hotel is more or less next door to New Street Station. In fact when you exit the station you can see the sign for the hotel over the wall on your right, and there is access via a stairway onto Station street which takes you more or less outside the door. The other alternative (maybe if you have a lot of luggage) is to walk around which is probably ... ...The check-in process for me has always been trouble free. I usually make my booking through Active Hotels as it tends to be quite a bit cheaper than booking directly with the hotel itself. The staff are always very polite and helpful and willing to assist you in any way they can. There is a smallish lift available for guest use if you don't fancy taking the stairs. I'm not sure how easy it would be for wheelchair users, but my friend was easily able ...
