Our Blackpool Trip Advantages: Excellent staff - especially at breakfast, reception staff especially Stewart also very helpful and friendly Disadvantages: Food was basic, parking - got blocked in and could not move our own car! ...trip to Blackpool. Attracted by the Cliffs facilities for the money we decided on booking it. Well we were extremely happy, I strongly advised entering the basement, kids soft play area, table tennis, arcade games, pool, snooker, swimming pool and gym! You'd never believe it would all fit down there! The rooms were clean, the toilets would have been too small to sit on if I was a few dress sizes bigger!! The food at breakfast was fresh and hot ... ...move our own car!! However the hotel did try it's best and transported us themselves to and from the restaurant we had intended to eat at. Marymoose goes to the seaside! Advantages: Excellent value hotel Disadvantages: The rude barman, and the toilet door! ...We stay in the Hilton Hotel in Warwick, and it costs £100 each for 2 night’s bed and breakfast, and dinner on the first night (I only remember because it was such a round amount). Anyway, we have a fantastic time, with lots of memories made, and become good friends. 10 years later Ok, it’s not quite summer yet, but it’s nearly 10 years later and with hubby going off to Egypt scuba diving with another woman, I was left with a bank holiday ... ... Other The Hilton is a 2.5 mile walk from the Pleasure Beach. On the Saturday we walked all the way since the day was so lovely, and it was nice to see the area. On the way you pass Blackpool Tower (which is probably about a mile along the way). We got the tram most of the way back, for novelty value, but also as we’d been on our feet all day. A great, modern seafront hotel Advantages: Lovely rooms, very spacious, great facilities Disadvantages: Quite a hike from the train station, noisy lifts After searching high and low for a classy looking hotel in Blackpool I found the Big Blue Hotel and was immediately won over by their website and photos. We planned to stay a night in the hotel and spend one day at the Pleasure Beach and looking at their offers on the website I soon noticed that they offered a room and unlimited wristband. Jumping at the chance, I booked right away through the site and we got our confirmation email. Premier Inn Blackpool - value for money Advantages: Clear, bright, comfortable, efficient Disadvantages: Not the most attractive of locations, need ID if you pay cash The Blackpool Central Premier Inn is situated in Yeadon Way, pretty much half-way between Bloomfield Road (the home of Blackpool Football Club) and the Pleasure Beach (home of the Big One rollercoaster). dissapointed Advantages: no advantages Disadvantages: would never book there again i booked into this hotel but never slept there, disgusting is all i can say. the beds were dirty and torn, the carpet was filthy and the bathroom wasnt clean. wouldnt of expected this in a hotel , i was so dissapointed i checked out. there was no way i could of slept in those beds. i had my 7 year old litle girl with us and i dont think this hotel would of been appropriate for her to sleep in. would of expected this poor cleanliness from a cheap ... ...upside was that the girl on the desk was polite . i do appoligise for this review but its how i feel and theres no way i would recomend this hotel to anyone. i didnt ask for a refund when i was there i was so upset i just came out. ...
