A home from home hotel, with excellent location.
Review of Kingsway Hotel, Blackpool by Helen819

Advantages: location
Disadvantages: none

Arrived here with child,at very short notice. The owners were ever so helpful.Room was excellent, with high standards in cleanliness. Breakfast was individually catered for, which therefore serves as no necessary wastage. Nice, adequate servings too,(nothing worse than comming away from the table not satisfied). The couple who run this hotel are very proud, and this shows in their attention to the people who stay here, this seems more than just a business, its ...
...helpful,curtious,and genuinley very nice people. The hotel is situated within easy reach of all the amminities, whether its going to see a show(as we did),or having a day on the beach, shopping, and the pleasure beach. The hotel is on a nice quiet street, away from the hussle and bustle,of people leaving bars, ect.Right in the centre of blackpool it is the perfect location.Although we didnt stay long,we will return to have a long stay in the future.Thank-you ... Norbreck Castle Hotel - Armish Paradise
Review of Norbreck Castle Hotel, Blackpool by Dave1976

Advantages: It has 18 wheeler in the arcade!
Disadvantages: It has secret communes of people hidden away...

...Holidays and were given The Norbreck Castle as a dwelling place! I got onto the net and couldn't believe my luck when I was presented with beautiful pictures of a fantastic castle with amazing facilities! We travelled down on the coach looking forward to our stay at this amazing castle! The coach arrived and my jaw quite simply hit the floor. It looks like an eastern european prison. The driver on the coach then announced, "Oh, and by the way folks, ...
...In the back of The Norbreck Castle Hotel is a very well hidden, massive commune of Jews. Why? I have absolutely no idea. I personally have nothing against Jews or anything. But there was a remarkable number of them skulking around in secret at the back of the hotel. It was as if they were trying to hide - and every room they were in was emblazened with "KEEP OUT" signs. I was like the Gremilns movie, were a particuar type of being would hide away ... Read review

Impressive, Illustrious Imperial!!
Review of The Imperial Hotel Blackpool, Blackpool by thebigc1690

Advantages: The whole experience.
Disadvantages: My stay was completely disadvantage free!

...regular basis. Now I am the first to admit that when I visit Blackpool it is more about the place itself than the accommodation and therefore I usually just opt for a very inexpensive B&B but I do on occasions like to treat myself to a luxury break in a hotel and have stayed in the Big Blue hotel that overlooks the Pleasure beach (already reviewed) and also in the Imperial Hotel which is what I am going to tell you a bit about here. I stayed in ...
...to friends who I recommended the hotel to and are recently back from their stay that it is every bit as good now as I told them it was then. The Imperial hotel is noted as being Blackpool`s most famous and impressive hotel and at first sight you will appreciate why it is rated impressive. Situated on the North Promenade this stunning Victorian hotel which was built in the 1800`s and has since been fully restored sticks out like a sore thumb in it`s ... Read review

A night at the Norbreck
Review of Norbreck Castle Hotel, Blackpool by Bestdays

Advantages: Big, lots to do, good fun hotel
Disadvantages: the scrambled egg was awful!!

I recently stayed overnight in this hotel with my partner, in order to assess the facilities, with a view to holding an event there. We found the staff to be extremely attentive and helpful, the check in procedure was straightforward. It is a huge place with more than 400 bedrooms, so the niceties like room service and portering etc are not there. However our room was spacious and clean even if the furniture is a little dated. The renovated bathroom ... Read review

Broadway Nightmare
Review of Broadway Hotel, Blackpool by bankievisitor

Advantages: Location
Disadvantages: Not for the faint hearted, needs a good clean

I visited the Broadway Hotel in October 2007, and was very disappointed with the standards of accomidation in which the Broadway Hotel had to offer. I have never stayed in such a dirty and poorly presented Hotel, in all the years in which I have visited Blackpool. The rooms were fair, but in 5 days of staying, the toilet was not cleaned, the bins were not emptied and at no time was the rooms or beds freshened. The owner had a dog which sat on all ...
...the management would eagerly accomidate elderly bus tours, before any other customers. They would not cater for children unless you specifically asked them, as a child menu was not offered, unless you specified it, as they felt it was acceptable to give an 18 month old baby a pork chop for dinner, bone included, and they seldom cleaned the high chair. All entertainment was again centered around elderly tour customers, at the average age of 70, and ... Read review
