victimised and humiliated
Advantages: cheap Disadvantages: rude arrogent argumentative staff not child friendly
...regular. On my last visit the waitress treated myself and my family in a way we have never been treated before. On every visit I feed my 1 year old son some of my meal as he only has a tiny amount. I had been refused a bowl previously but told I can bring my own. On this night the waitress's were looking at me, one said to the other watch her she wil bring a bowl. I mentioned to my husband since entering one waitress in particular hadn't taken her ... ...bag. Like a charging bull the waitress comes to our table and yells at us saying we cant feed our baby unless we buy a meal for him (0.25p cheaper than an adults meal) I asked her why when it was fine before and told her he only has half a potatoe a tiny bit of veg and an inch of meat. She then wouldn't stop arguing without us even speaking to her . I had to keep telling her I have heard enough, leave us to eat please. The other waitress came and ...

...with my brother and three Ghurka lads, that was my first experience of these amazing people. Years later I was serving in the British Army and was fortunate to be taking part in a 3 day race in the Cumbran marches in Wales. Apart from being possibly the most disciplined soldiers I've ever come accross, the food we sampled of theirs on the side of the mountain was extraordinary and really hot. It wasn't until years later after I had left the Army ... ...A few pints of the Ghurka beer in the bar then onto the Restaurant side. I can only say that the experience and the diverse tastes from Nepal to China and every where in between was absolutely fantastic especially the Ghurka Lamb curry, it took me back to the side of that mountain in wales all them years ago. I come over to Blackpool regularly to visit friends who live there and we always visit the Restaurant. I think we were some of the ealiest ...

Blackpools best restaurant by far!
Advantages: Fantastic food and brilliant service Disadvantages: A bit pricey
Anon Café & Bistro, Queens Square in Poulton le Fylde Blackpool is definitely a must for any discerning food lover! I can honestly say that it is the classiest restaurant within the Blackpool area, serving the most delicious food!
The restaurant itself is fairly small, accommodating around 7 or 8 tables. Each table has a candle which adds to the romantic atmosphere. The walls are decorated with numerous black and white pictures and smooth jazz or ... ...necessary.
The service in Anon is honestly the most attentive I have ever experienced. When you book a table at Anon you have the table for the evening. You are never rushed and the whole experienced is relaxed and enjoyable. The waiter is always very knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu, being able to describe the tastes of dishes and how they are cooked.
Reading back through what I have penned above, he restaurant may sound a bit posh or ...

A lifestyle statement, not a choice for coffee
Advantages: Comfortable, relaxing surroundings, ethical capitalism Disadvantages: The coffee!!
...than a blanket criticism of Starbucks, but it is certain my verdict. =VALUE FOR MONEY =
The standard coffee comes in at £1.95. If you want a cup of coffee for less than £1, go to Greggs or somewhere less (dare I say it) pretentious. The coffee in Marks and Spencers Café Revive is no less palatable and costs 50p less.
= THE STARBUCKS EXPERIENCE =
The downstairs had stripped pine chairs and round tables, but I thought it was a bit dark ... ...of table and chairs, plus by the window, there were low sofas and armchairs. WiFi internet access is free, and thanks to the recent legislation banning smoking in public places, the atmosphere was cheery and brighter than the downstairs (this is a contrast with Belgium).
Starbucks also is recommended by the Blackpool vegans, as it such stocks products as soya milk, herbal tea and they sell a vegan falafel and humus flatbread (contains wheat), which ...

The worst in-store cafe
Advantages: None Disadvantages: Dirty, Unloved, Un cared for, Poor quality
...high onto another table then Asda Cafe, Cherry Tree Road is the place for you.
If ever the word "pits" was designed for an eating establishment...i know the very one.
Last week, my wife and myself were running late on our one day off together. We had been trying to find a bedroom carpet and it took longer than expected. We always have lunch together on our day off and as we were looking at carpets next door to Asda, and we had junior to pick up ... ...Asda Cafe as we were limited for time and choice and we thought it may have changed since the last time we were in.
WRONG...STILL ITS GOOD OLD SELF.
It was an absolute cazi...every table had debris on it, every foot of the floor had food on. The drinks machine looked as though it was comming up for its anual clean, and some of the staff were celebrating as some of the food looked as though it was on its 1st birthday.
We ended up getting a sandwich ...
