...first reaction was 'WOW!' The airport itself is quite extraordinary. It is safe to say, that the Marrakech people are big on architectural detail! (You'll see what I mean when you get there).
There is a bus that runs from the airport to the city centre Djemaa El Fna - Square: Jamaa Al-Fna Marrakech. It costs 20 MAD (approx. £1.30) for a one-way ticket or you can purchase a return for just 30 MAD. (£2) Though this is a good offer, if you are have an early departure and need to get to the airport very early, you may be better off getting a taxi back to the airport depending on where you are leaving from, as it will save you the stress of having to get back to the city and then take the bus and risk getting to the airport late. ...The Portofino Ristorante Pizzeria has a contemporary architecture, it's completely different from others Marrakech's restaurants. The owner is Italian and the chef too. He worked in Agadir before, at the Restaurent Rugantino. He moved with all is staff to Marrakech in October 2005. The chef told me, that for have a very crispy cooked pizza, you need a traditional wooden oven, and in this way, the oven comes from Modena. Modena is not only Ferrari's city ;-D.
This restaurant is situated close at the Koutoubia and a few minutes by foot from the J. Fna square. Portofino is beautiful and the service of the waiters very good. Unfortunatly they have some problems with the English, but the manager speaks a fluent English because he worked in the Usa.
If you don't want eat a pizza....no problem, you can choose between spaghetti, penne...

...Right in the middle of Lake Bled is tiny Bled island. And when I say tiny, i mean allow yourself around 5 minutes to walk the whole island!
Bled island is part of the reason the area around Lake Bled is so pretty and picturesque. Bled is a gorgeous location situated in the Julian Alps with a castle perched above the lake and the little island in the middle.
To get to Bled Island you can grab a water taxi from the side of the lake (we got ours in front of the tourist information place). You can share your water taxi with others to save cash (just wait around where the boats are), but as we were there in winter there was no one around to share with so we just took our own over, for around 20 euros. The taxi will ferry you to the island and then wait for you to come back usually allowing you an hour which includes the ten minute...

Where do I begin?
Following a drive of nearly 5 hours across the Atlas mountains from Agadir - don't ask - we were told it was an hour and a half and flying to Agadir saved hundreds of pounds on the holiday - any flea pit would have been welcome.
