Having been to blizzard beach twice now its one of those parks that will always be in your top 4 The park is set out as though it's just been hit by a massive snow storm with plastic snow all around but do not fear, no chance of being cold with the florida heat .Its a great place to visit for any couple or family. Now with this park being set on mount gushmore you may think of lots of walking is true but you may want to take the chairlift which takes to right the top ready to come back down in a rather different fashion lol.Having said that it's a great way to check out the park .
PRICES: On what i recall it was about $35 adult not much difference for any child over 3 but under 3's were free of charge.Always good to purchase a ultimate park pass, which with us just buying some due to us returning next year it cost about £180 per person ( i need to ride the parks ultimate ride again )
FOOD & DRINK: Lots of places to grab a bite to eat, here's just some.
LOTTAWATTA LODGE Great place for the usual stuff, pizza,hotdogs, burgers,fries
SLED DOG Great place to cool down with all types of icecream's and many different types of desserts
FROSTBITE FREDDY'S For all you adults great place to catch a cold adult drink or spirit
ATTRACTIONS I wont list them all but here are some that should not be missed
CROSS COUNTRY CREEK This is the total relaxing ride , grab a rubber ring and float around the whole park enjoying all the sun at the same time. It can take up to 40mins to do a complete lap ( great )
TEAM BOAT SPRINGS Great for any couple or family, grab yourself an inflatable raft and off you go down a huge winding ride
TIKES PEAK Great for the little ones lots of slides . water fountains and a wading pool just a nice place to have fun with your children
MELT AWAY BAY Just a open pool with lots of area to relax or have fun
SUMMIT PLUMMET ( THE ULTIMATE ) Now this thing is bad, 360ft top to bottom, 120ft high to which most of it is freefall and reaching speeds up to 55mph. Now this ride i thought twice about but having stood at the top and seeing my family at the bottom and believe me i could just see them i had to do it. Only thing i remember was the man who was sitting at the top saying when people could go. His last comment was KEEP YOUR LEGS CROSSED. Having reached the bottom i knew why , my body parts were in tack but my shorts had no longer life in them lol.If u dare ride this be aware.
