Midon, Ron Carter, Lucky Peterson, JD Allen.Classical violinist Nigel Kennedy built his reputation on more than just considerable musical talent--he cultivated an appearance and demeanor of a somewhat surly, slightly dissipated rock star. But Kennedy's influences and interests have always been wide-ranging, including jazz, and with BLUE NOTE SESSIONS he lets his jazz side have free reign. He and producer Jay Newland assembled a most formidable crew to accompany him, including drummer/composer Jack DeJohnette, big-toned tenor saxophonist Joe Lovano, and genially versatile pianist Kenny Werner. While Kennedy is not exactly competition for Jean Luc Ponty, he does evoke Ponty in the latter's early, pre-electric career, playing with a direct lyricism and earnest swing. The selection of songs is both eclectic and enticing, including the bluesy I Almost Lost My Mind and the subtle groove of Song For My Father.[Reviews]JazzTimes (p.72) - [A] nifty recording that traverses many styles, from hard bop and ballads to soul jazz and pop jazz.n
Advantages: wonderful for walking Disadvantages: can be a bit daunting- some of the walks are really long +wildlife can scare some
...of the mountains in the Background. We also did a ropes course that was situated next to the camp site.
My advice to you if thinkong of travelling to Australia and visiting the Blue Mountains is this:
take note of the time zones!
we had not realised that the Blue Mountains were in a different time zone to Queenland (1 hour behind) and were complaining to our selves about how it was 10pm and people were not being quiet while we were trying to sleep. We were also getting worked up about the ropes course instructors being laid back about the time and had thought that the restaurant and toilets was staying open late just because there was a tropical rainstorm!
I would recommend this area as a must for anyone travelling to Australia and it is suitable for Young and Old alike. There are even wheelchair friendly walking paths, allowing easy access...

Advantages: Very Relaxing Disadvantages: Not much to do once there without driving.
...better than expected, we only paid 59.00 with booking.com and stayed in room 7 in the courtyard but it was out of this world this is my idea of 5* very clean huge fluffy bath sheets. The room was very sumptuous with royal blue silk over the ceiling and dark large wooden furniture big comfy sofa and a bed to die for, they turn your bed down at night and leave note for you. We also had afternoon tea in the libray very cosy big open fires and a silver cake stand PERFECT and only 4.69 for a large coffee and tea. We wanted to book a murder meal but it was a private party. We will be going back the whole place was immaculate and very well done to keep the feel your in a castle the plasma TVs may not be from the time but are a great addition....

Right, onto the main feature of JetBlue, which sets it apart from all the competition. It's Prices.
You will not believe your eyes - I guarantee it. How they manage to make a profit, I do not know! Book via their website for the absolute best deals. Its a ticketless airline, so you'll need to make a note of your confirmation number. You even get to choose exactly where on the plane you sit, so can get that window/aisle/exit seat you desire! If you can be a bit flexible, yóu can fly cheaper still - just check out prices for the same flight a few days either side of when you're thinking of travelling.
I love JetBlue, I really do! I'm so used to being disappointed by airlines, train companies, etc, that to find one that continuously performs is just...
