Well this is a review of my holiday to Gran Canaria and boy did i love it!

The glorious Blue Star hotel is located at the tops of hills in the Puerto rico resort. Has magnificent views accross the entire resort, being able to see the lit up beaches and city centre of this fantastic resort. Taxis are easily able to get to and from this hotel to virtually anywhere throughout the resort, although if you want to go somewhere else such as the capital, Las Palmas, you should really find a taxi from the city centre. Has a "Europa Centre" located just a 5 minute walk away from the hotel, filled with endless restaraunts, bars, and few shops. Last summer was host to the most exciting and most different holiday I have ever taken. Bored of years of holidays with parents, always staying in the same place, always visiting the same places, I decided this time to go away with friends. My boyfriend managed to secure us a cheap holiday sailing around the Turkish coast, so naturally, I went - partly because of the price, partly because of the company...and partly because I'd heard so much about Turkey and yet had never visited.
Marmaris was our last port of call, so to speak. We spent two days moored there, but two days is nowhere near enough if you really want to do everything you possibly can in the area. Who is it for??
I would recommend MArmaris to anyone. However the resort is not quiet if your looking for peace & tranquility - but at the same time its not really overly lively. To explain - if you want it to be livley - you can have it - if you want to relax and get away from it all - you can.
People of all ages can enjoy a holiday in Marmaris as it has so much to offer....
