The location of the Blue Tiffin (on a trading park on Higginshaw lane in Oldham) doesnt suggest that it is going to be anyting special, but dont let this fool you.
This has got to be one of the Best Indian Restaurants that I have ever been to. The food is beautifully cooked, very well presented, and most importantly tastes fantastic.
The service is really good and efficient, and so far they have been 100% accurate with our orders.
If you tell them that it is a special occassion they will make an effort without exta charge. We went for my wifes BIrthday and they gave her a Non-Alcholic cocktail at the end of the meal.
They had a special Valentines day menu for a fixed price £25 and again my wife got a lovely real presentation red rose. They also had entertainment laid on.
The restaurant is spacious and clean. It gets busy but you wouldnt notice it.
It is not cheap, but I consider it good value for money.
The only downside is the desserts, which seem, unlike everything else, bought in rather than made there, BUT they are still nice. They have their menu on line and you can book on line.
their website is http://www.bluetiffin.co.uk
The menu is very varied and I havent had anything there yet that I didnt like.
I can recommend the Ameri Murgh, Blue Tiffin Thawa and Kum hara piaz!
Just writing this makes me want to go back. I think Ill book for next week - Yum!

You say in your review that the location wouldn't make you expect something special but you don't elaborate on this. Where exactly is the restaurant located?
