Advantages: Guaranteed to see a logger head, the staff are totally devoted to the cause
Disadvantages: It is soul destroying and very upsetting seeing the turtles in this state

for the endangered loggerhead turtles the sanctuary will also look after the more common green sea turtles, although I didn?t notice any during my visit, which I found strange. Surely the sea turtles get hit by the propellers, or are they more intelligent than the loggerheads and move out of the way of the boats? Or is it that the seat turtles are not considered as highly as the loggerheads therefore the injured ones are not reported when they are found? Whatever the reason there were no sea turtles at the sanctuary. Located on Turtle Beach, the turtle sanctuary is ideally located for the purpose it was set up for. The premises, if you can call them that, consist of no more than a metal frame with a roof on the top. There are no in-fill panels or walls and it is totally open. Turtle Beach Hotel Barbados WOW

Advantages: Every whim is catered to
Disadvantages: Sea a little rough for small children

Went to Turtle Beach Hotel to get married. Have to say it was fabulous. It is a large hotel on the South Coast of Barbados, 20 minutes from the airport. It has around 164 rooms, each one is bright, airy and clean, with air con, ceiling fan, television and fridge. This is an all inclusive resort and there are 3 restaurants to choose from, all serving lovely food, some times it was buffet and sometimes it was a la carte. You can find great deals, but I think this hotel is a little pricey, I have seen varying prices, for June you could go for a week for a price of 204 GB pounds per night for the room, which includes all inclusive food and drinks. Flights, you can get a flight with XL Airways for approx 450 GB pounds depending on when you go. There is plenty to do, lovely swimming pools, first class pure white sandy beach, but ...

Turtle Beach wedding

Advantages: clean, close to the beach
Disadvantages: value for money, service

. There is not alot to do here apart from relax and swim, the excursions were so expensive. The hotel did run a free bus to Bridgetown daily but you need so much money to shop there as all the shops were fine jewellery stores or designer clothes. Over all i enjoyed my time here but wouldn't go back again, Turtle Beach is not really a place for children, its more for upper class couples wanting a relaxing holiday. ...
