    Advantages Advantages Good position on the strip.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Rooms dirty, food poor, dingy, dank and frankly depressing

    I had the dishonour of staying at the Boardwalk Las Vegas in early 2005. I really wish I hadn't! OK… at first glance you think you have stumbled onto a gem, a casino/hotel on the strip, next to the Monte Carlo and near enough to the biggies (Bellagio, MGM and so on..) to make walking a possibility. But believe me you haven't! What can I say? Entrance hall: You have to enter through the casino floor, the floor is sticky and the room smells very strongly of stale smoke. Make sure you avoid the very strange gambling addicts you can find in this hotel. The staff of the reception desk were polite ... more

    Don't be fooled by the small, old-fashioned looking Boardwalk! We stayed in The Boardwalk in January 2005. It is by a long shot the cheapest hotel on the Strip, and has a great location near the bigger hotels/casino's. If you want spend all your harderaned travvelers cheques on gambling, the Boardwalk is the place for you. The Casino - The casino is small compared to the huge hotels/casino's along the rest of the Strip, however, it has got the usual array of slots, tables, roulette etc. We had many a great bight playing the Wheel of Fortune slots here and I won quite a lot!
