Gulet Cruise Brilliant!

Advantages: great for seeing new places!
Disadvantages: not child friendly

I went on a 2 week all inclusive gulet holiday in July/August 2007, (My 5th one), this was far by the best one yet. Thomas Cook reps were fantastic. The crew were absolutely brilliant, Askin the captain was very helpful in explaining the itinery, and a special mention has to go to Tayfun, our cook, he was amazing, anything you wanted he would cook. ...as i am able. The cabins are basic with one double bed, or twin, with a shower and pumped toilets, so not recommeded for those who like home comforts. You cant wear shoes while on board as the boats are handcrafted wooden boats, therefore shoes can ruin the deck, personally i think theres nothing better than fresh air to your feet! Whilst sailing if the breeze is directed right the crew will put up the sails, this is an experience. ME I LOVE IT!! ...

Bodrum a place of contrasts

Advantages: Plenty to see, good choice of restaurants, very friendly people
Disadvantages: Not much for younger children

Advantages: Family friendly, tourist friendly, plents of shops and nightlife
Disadvantages: children under 12 not welcome.

Gumbet - Bodrum

Advantages: Lively, nice weather, good selection of restaurants
Disadvantages: Beach, getting quite expensive
