WOW really is the best description!

Advantages: Lots of things to do, a refreshing change
Disadvantages: Possibly too 'european' for some

'WOW Bodrum' or to give it its proper title 'World of Wonders Bodrum Resort' is superb, amazing, delightful and stunning. HOLIDAY FROM HELL

Advantages: Turkish weather
Disadvantages: Everything but the weather

My first holiday in 7 years and supposed to be a family holiday plus a belated honeymoon for my husband and myself. Club Voyage Torba

Advantages: Great apartment, pools
Disadvantages: Hot food could have been better,

We stayed in the Club Voyage Torba in September '07. It's about 20-30 mins by bus from Bodrum. We were a bit apprehensive as we have 3 young children (under 8) and had to book 2 rooms and were hoping that the rooms had connecting doors. This turned out not to be a problem as the apartment was more than ample with up and down stairs. It was like having your own little house. Salmakis Hotel-Bodrum ****

Advantages: Huge, Clean, Nice food, Private Beach, Nice rooms....
Disadvantages: Reception Bar is High priced, you can get lost easily.

...through Thomas Cook who use Salmakis boats. On the last day of the holiday, you are taken to the Salmakis hotel. I never though the Salmakis would be so big. You go down a steep hill to get to the reception so walking back to Bodrum is not advisable. Although if you go down to the beach front, there are water taxis to take you to bodrum. These cost 2.50 lira each and take about 5 minutes. If you would rarther get a real taxi, these cost 5 euro to ...
...there shouldn't be a problem checking-in. The bar in reception is not advised as the prices are pretty high. If you do get anything from there, they put it on a bill which had to be paid before you leave the bar. We didn't realise this and got chased around the hotel to pay. The rooms here are all pretty good sized, they are also clean and tidy. The Mini-bar has a price list available so you know what to expect. There are plenty of places to sit ...

hotel simba never again

Advantages: close to beach, town centre and easy access to bodrum
Disadvantages: not suitable for those with walking

Comments: Location: Good set close to beach, town centre and easy access to Bodrum, however not suitable for those with walking issues or young children as uphill from beach front and within hotel rooms set on several levels with stairs access only.
