Advantages: Pleasant staff, facilities, closeness to Silverstone Disadvantages: Remoteness
I've probably stayed at Whittlebury Hall about twenty times over the past three and a half years when attending work-related courses. (Before reading this review be warned that any of my negative comments about the hotel are probably influenced by the fact that when I've stayed there it's never been for pleasure - the days of boredom I've spent within its walls listening to people talking about IFRS accounting and deferred tax have probably made me more negative than I would otherwise be!)
The first view you get of the hotel is magnificent. As you are driven up the long drive you can't help but be impressed by the style of the two-storey building and the grounds that surround it. The reception area as you enter the hotel is also impressive and quite grand looking - the area has very comfortable huge leather couches and a warm ...
Advantages: Outstanding Spa with all the latest Facilities and Treatments, Freindly Staff and very Relaxing. Disadvantages: Not a luxury you could afford to do often.
Eden hall my first spa visit, and what a day to remember.
My brother got married last year and we all went on a hen day with his fiancée, I must admit when it was suggested I really thought £69 for a day was a lot of money and was very reluctant to spend as my daughter went to.
However it was the most relaxing day I have ever had and excellent value for money.
The day starts at 8.30 on arrival your greeted by the friendly staff, who give you your information pack for the day, if you have any treatments or classes booked, also your dinner time is on your itinerary.
Off you go to the changing rooms where you type in your own code for the locker, in your locker is a bathrobe and towels, Any of these can be changed at reception for fresh ones throughout your day, There are separate changing rooms if you wish, showers all ...
Advantages: Beautiful, great for families, lovely walks Disadvantages: Mat be too quiet for some
Llandudno is a beautiful Victorian seaside resort situated on the North coast of Wales. If you look at a map of North Wales you will see that Llandudno is set on a piece of land jutting out into the Irish Sea. The end of this piece of land is the Great Orme Country Park with Llandudno town at its base. If you can visualise this in your mind you will see that Llandudno will actually have two beaches ? roughly one facing north and one facing west.
The North Shore is the side where the main town, hotels and shops are. The pier is here as is the theatre and most of the entertainment is on this side of the town.
Before we came to live here in Llandudno I hadn?t even realised that the West Shore existed and I bet I am not the only one!
There is a dual carriageway linking the two shores which is called Gloddaeth Avenue and it takes ...
