Myself and my cousin stayed at these apartments in September 2007. We got moved here from the Samba hotel across the road at the last minute and when we arrived we were a little dissapointed looking at the apartments from the outside compared to the Samba but we were there and couldn\'t change it! Appearances can be deceptive and these apartments were. When you walk inside there is a large reception area with a games room, internet access (which you pay to use but is inexpensive) and pool access. The staff on reception were quite helpful and spoke good English. There are lifts and stairs so access is easy for the less mobile and people with children.
The apartment we were in was quite large with one bedroom and a separate bathroom. It was pretty clean and well maintained. The only problem we had was our toaster didn\'t work which wasn\'t really a big deal to us as we ate out most of the time. The kitchen has a fridge and hob and we were supplied with ample cutlery, plates and saucepans. All rooms also have a balcony and we were lucky to be put on the side overlooking the entrance which does not get much sun so the room was always cool, even with no air conditioning.
The apartments have their own bar but we didn\'t go in as it was quiet, although it was end of season but in peak season, it would probably get busy. The Samba hotel across the road also has a bar with Karaoke which you can use, even if you aren\'t staying there.
The pool was large, with a Jacuzzi although it was freezing cold! There are plenty of sunbeds and room to sunbathe on the grassy area and there is a pool bar serving drinks and snacks including local dishes such as Paella. There is also a small supermarket attached to the apartments.
The only thing which we had a slight problem with was the huge hill the apartments are situated on. To get to the resort centre and Lloret beach, you have to walk down the hill, although it\'s not too far, it is a killer to get back up! For the less mobile and disabled, this could be a problem. There is the smaller Fenals beach nearby but this involves a large number of steps to go down to so is not really practical either.
The only reason I have rated these apartments as satisfactory is because of the access issues some people may have, apart from that, they make a great base for families and young people and are inexpensive. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here and we would definitely go back!
