Be prepared for a shock !!!
Review of Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai, India by suhail3007

Advantages: Can be counted on fingers !!!
Disadvantages: Not easily accessible by road...too much traffic chaos

I must say I had a whale of a time at this airport when i landed during my short trip to mumbai or shall i say bombay last year in 2005. First things first wen i boarded off the plane, I had to literally walk for nearly 20 mins before I cud see the immigration check points...to make it more delightful experience, I had to spend more than an hour to complete the formalities at the immigration counter..The worst was yet to come...Wen i gained access ...
...my luggages, I was in for a rude shock. All the luggages were being thrown away on the floor as if there has been a riot at that place. Fortunately i was able to located mine in few mins thanks to the distinctive colour of my bag. wen i was abt to get out of the airport building. That was the most memorable experience I cherish till date in my travel history. All the Best to You Guys who fancy landing at mumbai airport !!! ... Read review

just another big arch - what's the fuss about?
Review of Gateway of India, Bombay by koshkha

Advantages: Classic Tourist Site
Disadvantages: A lot of beggars and hawkers

If you are staying in the area, drop by and have a look, take some photos and soak up the atmosphere. If you are feeling flush and can deal with the juxtaposition of filfth and finery, posh and poverty, then drop into the Taj Hotel and get an expensive afternoon tea and look at the Arch out of the windows or take a stroll up the road to the government craft emporium. But if you aren't staying nearby, would you sit in a taxi for an hour and a half ...
...by the airport) just to get there - probably not. The India Gate in Delhi - similar style, another one you can happily snap out the window of your coach. Call me a philistine but there's a touch of 'Arc de Triomph' about the lot of them. As India's great attractions go, this is one I can take or leave. There's such a lot that you really MUST see and the Gate of India is no Taj Mahal - in this case, I mean the eternal monument to love and not the ... Read review

Prince of Wales Museum,Bombay(bombay is an old name of the city, its now called mumbai). The museum was completed in 1911 and named for King George V, who laid the cornerstone in 1905. ...stone. It is three storeys high . The building has several cultural touches from islamic prominent feature of dome to western victorian style or Indo - saracenic style .The building has also some resemblance to Taj mahal (a mogul construction). The building used as children's welfare center and then as a hospital, in 1922 opened for public as a museum . The plan of the Museum building is very simple, a central hall from which the staircase leads ... Read review

Gateway of india
Review of Gateway of India, Bombay by udai101

Advantages: Great historic site to see
Disadvantages: To many people there at a time

The Gateway of India is a fabulous site to see. When I was there I was able to walk all the way around the gateway but on previous visits I have only looked though the car because there are crowds of people if go at the wrong times. When I went I was able to look around the long sea front with out any hassle or trouble. There are also places where u can sit along the sea front and looking into the far distance u can see many ships and ferries. The ...
...Hotel. At the Gateway u can have a family picture, this area is scattered by photographers and they are willing to make u a family photo for a very cheap price. On one side of the Gateway you can take a boat ride which will take u around the sea front then back around. This roughly lasts for about 45minutes it is also very cheap. But don't stop there walking along the sea front u will sea many people selling mouth watering freshly cooked food. This ... Read review
