Bondi Beach is the fantastic Place for your after work relaxing. Not only for surfers.

Some people might have heard of Bondi Beach during the Olympics as it was the place where the Beach Volleyball competitions took place. Unbelievable as it sounds for us European Bondi Beach is not only one of the best Breaks in the Southern Hemisphere but also right in the heart of Sydney. It lays just around the corner of Sydney Harbour and is one of the most beautiful places in Sydney.

How to get there?

Bondi Beach is probably one of the only surf spots to reach with the local Bus. You just hop on - I believe the blue line - and it takes you and your surfboard or your volleyball or towel right to the beach. By car easy access as well. Just look it up in the map it is just south of Sydney Harbour.

What you get!

A beautiful wide beach with excellent clean sand an water and some nice cafes and restaurants along the beach. Besides that you have almost every day a nice swell, which invites you every day to a nice relaxing ride. Of course Bondi Beach gets a lot of big days as well especially in the months of March and April when the big storms are around in the Pacific.

Well in Sydney the other very beautiful Beach, which is worth checking out is Manly Beach. Easily reached by the quick Jet-Cat Ferries from Darling Harbour. Manly as a nice little sea side town offers you a great variety of excellent sea food restaurants and a nice break as well.
