Borobudur Temple is one of the biggest, most elaborate and well-preserved of Buddhist monuments in Asia. Seen from the air the huge complex is a three dimensional representation of a mandala. Borobudur is the famous temple.It is located in near Magelang central Java, Indonesia. Borobudur comparises six square platform topped by three circular platform and is decorated with 2,672 relief panels and 504 Budha statues. Dating from 8th and 9th it built in three tier. a pyramidal base with five concentric square terraces, the trunk of cone with three circular platform and at the top is a monumental stupa. You can try to reach "kunto bimo" a statue in stupa, Java's people believe if you can touch statue inside all you wish will come about. Borobudur should be on anybody's list of the greatest art-complexes in the world for it quality, size,and excellent state of preservation. Style: stupa and candi. Completion Circa AD 800.
